Stereo Mini to 2 XLR Male Soundcard Patch Y-Cable - 10' is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made In USA, Lifetime Warranty... Sweet! Let me start with the only downside I noticed. I got this bad boy for hooking up a computer setup for audio/visual work to my new pair of Yamaha studio monitors. They do the trick. The only thing that is kind of an issue is they are JUST BARELY long enough to spread the 2 speakers sufficiently before the get bound up in the long part of the cable. In other words the spread on the Y portion isn't that long. I'm living with it for now, but may use a very short XLR patch cable to extend one side of the Y another foot or so. On to the good stuff! I like that they're made in the USA out of quality components. The connectors are brand name and supposed to be some of the best. The 1/8 is Switchcraft, which seems super beefy and I can't expect will ever have anything go wrong with it. The XLRs are Neutrik. They don't feel as beefy, but are supposed to be a top notch brand. They do seem like they're designed for the professional in that they seem like they would come apart to be rewired if anything ever went wrong... Which is a nice feature if anything ever does! The cable says Made In Japan, and everybody knows the Japanese don't mess around either. Everything is also supposed to be shielded to cut down on interference. I didn't have any from any of my gizmos near the cable. So I expect this puppy will last a long time! If it doesn't... It comes with a lifetime warranty NOT a 5 year warranty as B&H lists. Look at Pro Cos website to confirm. Being made in the USA, out of all quality components, and with a warranty that never goes bad is why I spent the little bit of extra money over cheaper models. I think it will be well worth the extra few bucks in the long haul... Quality gear/cables usually is!
