Photogenic AKC320 Overview

The StudioMax III constant color monolight offers a full six- f/stop power range over 320 watt/seconds. It has internal control to ensure the same Kelvin temperature output, no matter what level of output is chosen.

This light is an excellent choice as a main, secondary, or hair light. Since it accepts the entire line of the PowerLight reflectors, grids, snoots, and diffusers, the StudioMax III is a good investment.

This Photogenic StudioMax III 3 Traveling Hair Light Kit includes a heavy duty 13' air cushioned light stand with counterweighted Boom Arm and 12 x 36" Strip Softbox. Order a kit case separately for storage or transport.

Great strobe

Currently using this for home studio portrait work, head shots and stills. I have used the strip box and an umbrella with this strobe and have been very happy with the results. It produces constant color and recharges in a reasonable time. The flash slave is a little picky, however. My speed lights, used for infill, won't trigger the strobe but my on camera flash will. Once I figured that out, I was even more pleased. I haven't tried this with the boom arm yet so can't comment.

Excellent for overhead lighting for hair or for boudoir lighting.
