The Fujinon YF2.8A-SA2B is a very wide angle 2.8mm industrial lens with DC Auto Iris. This lens will work with both 1/4 or 1/3 inch imager cameras. It produces an obtuse of 96° horizontal angle, 71° vertical in 1/3-inch format and 71° horizontal, 53° vertical view in 1/4-inch systems. The DC powered auto iris sytem feeds power from the camera to the lens iris via dedicated cable. This model has an extended iris cable that measures 230 mm (9 inches).
Auto Iris Feature
The Fujinon YF2.8A-SA2LB uses a DC powered auto iris system that takes power from the camera. The lens itself measures the lighting conditions and sets aperture. There is a special cable and connector on the lens for this purpose. This model lens comes with a 9 inch cable to fit cameras with connectors in unconventional positions.
Wide Range of Lighting Conditions
The lens is capable of adapting to very bright and very low lighting situations. Its maximum aperture is a fast 1.4 so it can be used dimmly lit environments. When confronted with extremely bright scenes the lens has a built-in ND filter that can effectively stop the lens down to a maximum of f/360.
