The SKB 3SKB4250 Flat Screen Monitor Case (Black) is designed to protect and transport specific 36-50" flat screen monitors. The case meets ATA 300 category 1 specifications for transit cases. It is made from rotationally molded LLD and LMD polyethylene for maximum impact resistance. Over 20 different custom foam inserts are available to fit most monitors. The case is transported by spring-loaded 90 degree lifting handles, built-in tilt back wheels and heavy-duty removable locking swivel casters.

Case comes fully assembled and easy to use. Fits pretty much any TV or TV-shaped object in the size range. requires no pulling of foam or shaping to get most anything to fit.

Doesn't roll correctly.

The back wheel of the case was grinds against the case body. Thus it doesn't roll correctly. At least it protects my gear as it's supposed to. Maybe I received a bad model.

Can you use this case to ship a monitor via UPS?

I've known people to successfully ship items UPS using plastic tubs they've sealed with tape. This is definitely a step up from that. You'd probably want to tape down the latches. The monitor should be well protected for shipping. Bigger issue is the weight. The case itself has some weight to it. Unless you need the case for transport after arrival it would not be the most economical way to ship a monitor.

I'm considering this case for a Dell 24 computer monitor (P2415Q). Will it accommodate the attached stand and base?

Yes, it should not be a problem. We use it for a Lenova All-In-One 23 inch PC which has a stand with a wider base than the Dell monitor and it fits fine. Plenty of room for accessories also. The interior foam allows for a great deal of individualization.
