The LS-82 from Pro-Co is a rack-mountable eight-channel line splitter that splits eight line-level signals into two outputs and also provides eight 1:1 line-level output transformers for applications that require a high degree of electrical isolation. The LS-82 is ideal for sound reinforcement systems where the need to break ground loops between devices exists, or where two inputs need to be fed by one source. In complex systems grounding problems can cause unacceptable noise levels and shock hazards. Transformer isolation helps to minimize these problems, making the LS-82 a great choice for portable or installed applications.
The LS-82 features Phoenix COMBICON plug-in screw connectors for all ins and outs, making hookup a breeze. Only bare conductors and a screwdriver are required. The LOT-1 transformers found within the LS-82 provide a wide frequency response with very low distortion. Ground-Lift switches provide buzz-free operation in practically any environment.
