Denecke TS-C Compact Timecode Slate (Color Clapper, EL Backlit)

We recommend that you do not have a slate attached to your camera permanently. You will need a DSMC2 Base Expander, DSMC2 V-Lock I/O Expander, DSMC3 Jetpack Expander, DSMC2 Jetpack-SDI Expander, or DSMC2 REDVOLT Expander. You will need a RED DIGITAL CINEMA 3BNC-to-00B Sync Cable as well. The Denecke TS-C Compact Timecode Slate has a blue backlight.

I don't see an option or any description for an output on the Denecke TS-C. I think you might need a Timecode Generator like a Denecke JB-1 (my favorite) or Denecke SB-4. There are other brands like Ambient, Tentacle, and a couple other brands. Just make sure you got the right cable!

Timecode generators with wireless communication can be paired with the Denecke TS-C Compact Timecode Slate (Color Clapper, EL Backlit) and camera for sync, such as from Tentacle Sync and those from Ambient. The Denecke TS-TCB offers wifi communication with timecode buddy products.

if you accidentally wrote a permanent marker on the slate,you can remove it by using dry erase markers on top of the permanent marks and wiping it with a tissue.

Running on 6 AA batteries would power the Denecke TS-C for a period of 3 full working days.
