22x Loupe is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just exquisite I bought this for the future, but specifically to see the sub-pixels on my Nexus 7 2013 display (more than 300 pixel/inch resolution) as well as the screen of my Coolpix L610. You need to realize that at this magnification, many things become critical, but it's still very practical. I didn't find a need for intense light, but ttis is pushing thdngs. Image quality and product quality are just superb. Field of view is much better than I expected. The optics comprise several elements, and in my amateur opinion, the optical design must be about the best possible, given its application. It's also quite compact, physically. Peak does make a 30x loupe, but its optics are apparently designed for a specific distance between your cornea and its nearest lens element.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for focusing I originally bought this for critical focus on the ground-glass of an 8x10 view camera, however I find it more useful in viewing negatives and transparencies once they are developed. The viewing angle is a bit narrow, but it does an excellent job. For anyone who's thinking of using this loupe on the ground glass back of a large format camera, I found that it also magnified the texture of the glass, which didn't work out as intended.... that being said it's perfect for viewing negs and transparencies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lets you find your best slides This is very well made, I had others look thru it at my slides and they said it was perfectly clear. My age and eyesight doesn't allow me to keep it though, gonna get the Peak 15x. I have found Peak to make the best ones (also have the 10x).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful Extremely powerful with a very small field of view. One needs plenty of ambient light or even artificial light to see well on the subject. In comparison, the 15x model has high magnification but is much easier to handle and view.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for film shooters I use this for checking detail focus on my negatives. A must have for film shooters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is perfect Very clear magnification for what, I believe, is the most powerful magnification short of a microscope. I also purchased the 15X loupe, which is a little easier on the eye(s) but doesn't have as much nagnification.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from right next to microscope More useful as a micro inspection tool than a photo/ print loupe. Bought it as a slide loupe and using as a science exploring tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sturdy, nice finsh for the price, this is an outstanding loupe. the 'stand' is clear plastic to let light in, but the optics are a nice chunk of glass. feels very well made, no rattle, and comes apart if you need to clean anything. also came in a nice soft snap-front case.
