Peak 1301964 Reviews
Small helper
Use it to check the blade edge on the tools I'm sharpening. It gives a good magnification, but tricky to keep it in focus due to the very restricted viewable area.
Excellent Magnification
Great for checking detail on my negatives. The field of view is small, but overall great "distortion free" magnification.
viewslides on light table
I use the 22x loupe to help me choose 35mm slides to select ones for my digital archive. It is especially useful to identify persons and to red signs, etc.
A must have for film shooters
I use this for checking detail focus on my negatives. A must have for film shooters.
Perfect for viewing 8mm film
I purchased the Peak 22x Loupe and the Porta-Trace Gagne 10x12 light box and the combination works perfectly to select sections of 8mm film to scan to create .tif files. The Peak 22x Loupe is perfect for taking a look at individual frames on 8mm film.
Just exquisite
I bought this for the future, but specifically to see the sub-pixels on my Nexus 7 2013 display (more than 300 pixel/inch resolution) as well as the screen of my Coolpix L610. You need to realize that at this magnification, many things become critical, but it's still very practical. I didn't find a need for intense light, but ttis is pushing thdngs. Image quality and product quality are just superb. Field of view is much better than I expected. The optics comprise several elements, and in my amateur opinion, the optical design must be about the best possible, given its application. It's also quite compact, physically. Peak does make a 30x loupe, but its optics are apparently designed for a specific distance between your cornea and its nearest lens element.
Excellent! Perfect for sharp focused slides..
Good handy tool for slides to be sure its crystal sharp... Helpful!!! Thank you B&H!!
Nice Loop
I use it while making electronic projects checking quality of my soldering. Nicely made good hunk of glass. This one came with a nice case, glad I bought it.
