The Nagra ARES-M is a palm-sized, portable 2-channel digital recorder that stores audio on an internal 1GB allocation of Flash Memory. The unit offers both linear PCM uncompressed and MPEG LayerII compressed recording, supports the WAV file format, and is equipped with both stereo and mono microphones, in addition to a built-in speaker.
The ARES-M provides a miniature USB port connection to both the wall-mount power supply and either a MAC(v9.11 or better)or PC(Windows 2000 and up)computer. It is a fully compliant USB mass storage device, and will appear on any desktop with the appropriate operating system.
