    Hosa Technology PDR-369 reviews

PDR-369 Patch Module - 12 Point XLR Patchbay is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully Professional Addition! Nice sturdy 1 RU frame that is about 3.5 deep. The jacks are reversible! Meaning, you can just unscrew the jacks from the front and back and turn them around. I love this! In the original configuration, all the jacks come mounted to the front side as female to a male jack on the back. So depending on your needs you can mix and match with a few minutes of work. I will be ordering more of these for my production truck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, effective, and solidly built I needed a device to rackmount in the tracking room that could be connected up and put in place so I wasn't moving wires around. I didn't want to risk damage to an installed snake cable. The PDR 369 does exactly that. To go a step further the XLR connections can be removed and tuned around in the chassis so that the male connection is in front. Great for the control room side of the snake. I will be ordering another very soon! Great job by B&H! They had the best price, the product was in stock, and shipping was very fast. Perfect!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from screw alignment is difficult, but it works I need to change the direction of 4 of the ports. Getting it apart and changing the sockets around was no problem. Getting the pieces back together was difficult. The holes don't line up without applying pressure or angling the screw to get it started. But it can be done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the unit. Flexible and transparent. Very cool patch bay. Individually reversible, and it is well made. It cleaned up my rack and that means faster set-up and easier troubleshooting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reversibility a definite plus! +: Good construction. Single channels are reversible. -: Wish it had push locks on female XLR connectors. Bottom of unit has no cover plate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT for converting my driverack to a quick plug and play This product works great. You can switch the XLR female and Male to whatever you need. I used this as an easy way to connect to my DBX driverack setup in the front of the unit... basically I didn't want to have to plug my speakers into the back every time... My rack has a power conditioner, a wifi router on a shelf, a dbx driverack PA2 and this glorious piece. Makes my setup so easy and quick to setup (especially if i decide to let a friend use it etc.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Perfect, but Does the Job for Pros I have a small studio with high end outboard audio gear, using Mogami cables exclusively. Tiring of doing manual patching, I didn't want to drop a bundle on a patchbay, and needed maximum flexibility. I invest in high-ticket gear, so here are the three things I can share for someone who wants to save in areas where you can cut financial corners to keep a pro studio on a budget. 1. The option to flip the male/female connectors is a major asset. I used up all of my males connectors on the first rack I bought (I bought two), and I just flipped one of the connectors on the bottom rack. Cool! 2. So far, I have not discerned any diminution in sound quality coming out of my D.W. Fearn VT-1, API pres and LA-2A, et al. 3. The construction is what you can expect from Chinese-made goods...cheap! Not all of the connectors lock in place, but they stay put, which serves my needs. I was forced to go this route because I had invested heavily in XLR cables; if I had not, I would have used a TecNek patchbay, or something more high end, but pricey. If you're in my financial shoes, it's not a bad way to go. I can use the savings towards a Bricasti! * I would have given this unit five stars if they threw in five or so replacement modules as their failure rate is high, as noted by other reviewers, and it costs them little to do so. I may regret this downstream, but time will tell.
