The On-Stage MSB6500 Mic Stand Bag is a heavy-duty nylon bag that fits either three round or hex bases or a combination of both, plus microphone stands including shafts and booms. Will this fit ultimate SB PRO bases? They are large triangular bases. I have 8. Would I need 3 bags? I have seen these carrying 6 atlas ms12 stands in the wild but the zipper is always busted and gaff tape wrapped.
It should, but yes you would need a few. I've only been using it for boom stands so far, but the bag fits 5-6 of those fairly comfortably. The description is most likely correct that only up to 3 can fit with larger bases.

does anyone know how many boom mic stands can fit within this case?
Hi, Marlene.We have two On-Stage stand cases.We have three floor mike stands that we use in our productions. Three stands were just a bit heavy for the original On-Stage case that we purchased, so we ended up buying a second case so that we could have two stands in one case an the third stand and a extension mike boom in the other case.We never had a problem with the case when it held the three stands, but i was afraid that it was just too much weight or the handles, so we obtained an additional case, since the first case worked for us so well.I hope that this answer helps you.Enjoy your new On-Stage case.Thanks,Nick ZaklanovichB&H customer.
