The On-Stage QK10B Quick Release Adapter allows swift installation and switching of microphones on microphone stands. The adapter has and internal and external thread, the internal thread screws into the microphone, and the external is a quick-mating connector that screws into the mic. One push of a button disconnects the mic clip from the stand.
I do not know how anyone can give these a good rating... they wiggle like crazy and makes you Mic feel like a bobble head on the stand. I bought a few of these and ALL were exactly the same with major bobble head problems!
I shoot video for a lot of live shows where I need to setup my own mics to get clear audio. These quick-release mic adapters save 5-10 mission-critical minutes in setup/tear down time on stage. They are solid and they maintain their tight fit so I don't need to worry about loose mics. I wish that I'd had these many years ago.
