I needed both 5pin male to 3pin female, and 3pin male to 5pin female dmx adapters for our theatre. These are inexpensive but reliable. Can't beat the Hosa quality, and the B&H price!

You get what you pay for, functionally these work fine and I haven't had a problem with them. My one concern is that the strain relief is a little weak and unintended tension gets put on these cables.

This inexpensive adaptor allows access for a lavaliere or other mic to an additional audio channel on a four channel pro camcorder when not using the onboard stereo input shotgun mic. The adaptor sends to both channels on the stereo input - meaning you can run three separately controlled mics without a mixer.
