I needed both 5pin male to 3pin female, and 3pin male to 5pin female dmx adapters for our theatre. These are inexpensive but reliable. Can't beat the Hosa quality, and the B&H price!

The Hosa Technology 5-Pin XLR Male to 3-Pin XLR Female DMX Cable - 6" is desgined to adapt a 5-pin DMX512 output to a 3-pin DMX512 input. The 3-conductor cable omits optional secondary data communication from the receiver to the source.
