I don't use these in a real critical application. They're only purpose is as part of the adapter chain going from 1/8 TRS to XLR for injecting a pink noise signal from a field recorder into my rack so I can get rough settings for the room EQ. I use a lot of high-end cable and connectors for my critical applications, which is most, but for little stuff like this I've used Hosa quite a lot too, and with success. You've got to ask yourself, is there a compelling reason to spend more on this adapter? If there's not then I think you'll be pleased with this little guy's performance.
