I needed a way, for a performance and recording, to mute a mic that was causing feedback, but we needed the mic for the opening and closing. This Hosa XLR switch worked perfectly and silently for us. Couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately, this was the first time I was disappointed with B&H quality. The barrels worked to turn the mics on/off but we ended up taking them off since they didn't sit well. The connection was so loose that the commentary cut in and out. I do not recommend buying this product.
