The Pentax F5P Extension Cord provides Off-Camera TTL Flash capability for Pentax cameras when used in combination with:
- Off Camera Shoe Adapter F (#31022)
and
- Hot Shoe Adapter F (#31046) OR Hot Shoe Adapter FG (#31045).
The difference between Hot Shoe Adapter F & Hot Shoe Adapter FG is that the "FG" version allows the use of a camera's pop-up flash while the "F" version obstructs use of pop-up flashes but has a flash shoe of its own.
Note:
The longer 9.5' (2.9 m) long F5PL (#37349) can be substituted for the F5P Extension Cord in this combination if greater distance is required between the camera & flash
