My mixer aux outs are XLR-M, not 1/4". So how do I send the PM351 the monitor output signal? Adapter cable of some sort?
If you need to connect a single XLR output from your mixer to the 1/4" TRS input on the Rolls PM351 Personal Monitor Station, you can use a cable like the Hosa Technology HXS-010 Balanced 3-Pin XLR Female to 1/4" TRS Male Audio Cable - 10' (B&H # HOHXS010). If you need to connect both XLR outputs from your mixer to the PM351, simply add on a Y-adapter like the Hosa Technology YXF-101.5 XLR Male to Dual XLR Female Audio Y-Cable (B&H # HOYCXM2XF18).

Yes. The instrument input on the Rolls PM351 Personal Monitor Station uses a 1/4" TRS connector that can accept instruments and line level signal. The line input also uses a 1/4" TRS connector that will accept line level. Both can be used for stereo signal by setting the corresponding mono/stereo switch for stereo input signal.

If I were to use this in line with the MX41 as an input to increase inputs to the monitor, would the signal from the mx41b come through ?
To begin with, I'm confused with your question, as you refer to an MX41, and an mx41b. Presuming that you mean the Rolls MX41B in both instances, then I am further confused by your question about whether the signal from it would come through. The more clearly you state your question, the better the rest of us can understand and offer help.That being said, there should be no problem to take the output from the MX41B into either the line input or instrument input of the Rolls PM351 and hear all the inputs from both units mixed together on the output of the PM351. It has lots of range and volume available, and is a great, clean headphone amp/mixer/direct box. You will want to pay attention to your stereo and mono cables, as well as the stereo/mono jumpers on the PM351, so you know what you are actually listening to. The MX41B is stereo, so I don't know what happens when you put a mono cable into it... it may only appear on one side of the output. Stereo/mono on the PM351 is selectable with two jumpers. Careful with those jumpers, though, they are black and small and easily lost.The quarter-inches are all unbalanced, too, so don't run those cables more than about 10 feet if you can help it. The XLR's are fine for any length, of course.Hope that helps.rcarbaugh
