$ for a tiny piece of foam? Well, they do the job. The windscreen fits over the mic well and helps reduce wind noise. They look professional. I wish they made a better option, maybe one with a metal cage like with the Sony 77's.They pop off very easily and if you're lucky you'll find them all over the studio floor and in your talent's clothing, so buy extras.
