question

I can only hear the hi and. Not the mid im probably connecting them wrong anyone can help me?
Asked by: Anonymous
The HX-5W is a full range speaker array that features 5 woofers. It is best to use this array with a subwoofer for a fuller sound and to minimize the impact low end frequencies can have on the relatively small 5 woofers. Another possibility is that the woofers are blown out, causing you to hear only mid and high frequencies. It would be advisable to contact TOA Product support at 800-733-4748 (option 2) for warranty claims.

Please can you recommend the type of amplifier and how many is required to drive this set of array
Asked by: Andrew M.
If using the HX-5W in 8 ohm mode, the Crown XLi 3500 will offer a solid power solution for a set of these units as well as the XTi 6002 which offers additional DSP features.

question

What would be a good amp to pair with a pair of these speakers?
Asked by: Brandon H.
It depend how it is used, if you are using these speakers for speeches, and normal music you can use the DA-250D this gives you 250 watts per speaker. If you are using it in a loud music environment you can use the DA-250F in a bridge mode, that will give you 500 Watts per speakers.Another configuration with Subs, two of them, you can use the FB-120, and add another DA-250D for the subs.
