S.A.G.E. Xpanders are additional groove libraries that can be added to the already enormous base library of Spectrasonic's Stylus RMX virtual instrument.
Stark Raving Beats from Ilio features the work Chris O'Brien and his library of aggressive live drums, wild percussion and remixes. The original groove tempos start at 105 BPM and accelerate to 170 BPM, but using S.A.G.E. technology, the user can expand that range as far as they want, always with intriguing results.
Each groove is split out into several tightly isolated multi-tracked elements, allowing the writer to swap snares, kicks, hats and toms between grooves at will, with no bleed between tracks, while keeping the spontaneity only obtainable from a real drummer.
The material in this collection is perfect for remixing, record producing, film scoring and creating "live" grooves from scratch.
