The Samson Stage 5 wireless microphone systems are designed to give users an inexpensive and easy alternative to wired microphones. The systems operate on VHF frequencies and are available with either a handheld microphone or belt-pack transmitter. Included in this wireless lavalier (lapel) microphone package is the SR5 Receiver, ST5 belt-pack transmitter and LM5 lavalier microphone.
The SR5 receiver is a desktop mounted unit designed to receive the radio signal transmitted from the the ST5 belt-pack or HT5 handheld microphone transmitters. The SR5 receiver features a single, telescoping antenna and large output volume dial for easy level adjusting. The rear panel reveals both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" phone output connectors. Audio level and radio signal meters are located on the front panel.
The ST5 belt-pack transmitter is a very small, lightweight unit that is designed to be worn by the user. The transmitter features a 1/8" mini (3.5mm) input connector for adapting lavalier (lapel) microphones, head-worn microphones or instrument cables. Additional features include an Audio On/Off (mute) switch, separate from the power switch and battery life indicator LED lights. The ST5 operates on a single 9-volt battery for up to 6 hours.
