If you need a base that will stay put, this is it. The handles make it easier to lift and move (as long as you can lift 50 lbs). The threading works beautifully with standard Pipes. They are also stackable, making them easier to store.

It's round, it's 50 pounds, and you can screw sch40 pipe into it.... what more could you want?... Little costly for what it is.

question

Where can I buy the pipe for this?
Asked by: Aaron P.
Any Home Depot or Lowes. Its Black Pipe 1 1/2 Diameter. Come in 10' legnths. Use a cupler for longer lengths. By all of this right off the shelf!

question

Are you able to stack these bases? If so, do they stack neatly
Asked by: Ricardo M.
The best way to stack them would be to use a pipe with a smaller diameter than the threading on the bases - something like 1 galvanized - and then mount it to a piece of plywood vertically with a flange. We are building some of these with casters on the bottom so that we can wheel them around the shop. Hope this helps!
