The Remote Audio SMA terminated, Miracle Whip UHF Antenna addresses the issues of breaks, bends, and signal loss. The rugged antenna is intended for use with Lectrosonics bodypack transmitters and receivers and can be literally trimmed to length for operation on common UHF frequencies. Color coded caps are included and aid in distinguishing frequencies while using multiple systems. This antenna operates in the 486 to 900 MHz band (Lectrosonics blocks 19 to 33). Not just for Lectrosonics, the Miracle Whip can also be used with compatible UFH systems from Zaxcom and others.

Does this work with Sennheiser G4 A1 Frequency Band (470-516MHz)?
I have the G4 IEM in the A1 range, did the SMA mod, and purchased the other Miracle Whip version and it does work. I am think about also trying this more flexy unit. Mine required a small cutting That said, you should try to stay within the frequency ranges when you cut and when you set you TX/RX ranges on your unit. Probably less critical on a receiver than a transmitter but mine works just fine. Note that it is noticeably longer than the stock in this frequency range. Higher frequencies = shorter antenna. Lower = longer.

UM190 uses an SMA antenna connector, not 2.5mm.
