How do you punch out the connector slots?

I assume the knockouts are not threaded, and I would need both screws and nuts to mount the connectors, correct?

Correct they are not threaded. All are size D. You'll need the 440 screws I believe with lock washers so they don't get loose.

How do you knock out the holes? Do you need a special tool for the screw hole knockouts?

I found a hammer and a nail punch worked well.
