Middle Atlantic Products' UCP-SF FK2 Swinging Frame for Custom Panels is a hinged version of the FK-2 frame kit, which lets you build custom connection panels using off-the-shelf parts. (The UCP modular custom panel series provides prepunched panels that can hold XLR, Neutrik, Elco, Canare, and many other common and esoteric I/O connectors.) Custom panels made with the hinged FK-2 are easy to modify and maintain: just swing it out to work on internal cabling, then lock it back in place using captive thumbscrews.
The FK-2 is 2 rack units high. For 4-space installations, order the FK-4 instead.
Build Custom Panels
Build rackmount electronics panels to your own specifications using the FK2 Frame. Choose from a wide selection of precut modules to put in your frame including BNC, XLR, Phono, BANA, Socapex, Multipin, DB, Combo, and DL Series punchouts, among others. You can also install blank and vented modules in the five module slots of the FK-2.
Swinging Frame
The FK-2 Swinging Frame makes it easy to manipulate electronics mounted in your custom panel. Just swing the door open when you need to solder a wire, then fasten it securely with included thumbscrews.
