No, the widest that it will open for me is 62 .

Can I put on this boom microphone
The Photoflex Telescopic LiteDisc Holder (870256) is built more for the LiteDisc than to hold accessories. There isn't much to counter balance. There is a 3/8 stud at the back end, and a flush-top 5/8 stud at the front end. A light-weight mike may be able to be attached to either end.
