Paramount 17PWMH1 reviews

Household to Miniphone Sync Cord - 16" Straight is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job A-OK Good little cable, no complaints. I use it to connect an Elinchrom Skyport Universal Receiver to an old Speedotron 1205cx. It wraps up to just the right size to fit in the Elinchrom's little travel case, which is convenient. From time to time, I use it with rental Pocket Wizards too. It seems well made and connects tightly at both ends. If you're connecting mini-phono to household, it's nice to not have a chain of adaptors and worth the price for the sake of simplicity, I think.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what you need Not much to say - it's a decent cable that does what it's supposed too. Note to Elinchrom users (and maybe others): if you buy this to connect Skyports to older style equipment (for me it's some Novatron monoblocks) you should get a longer cord. Having the Elinchroms this close to the unit when it fires causes the Skyport to turn off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Just What You Expect ! I own the Phottix Strato II wireless triggers, which I use with my Canon 5D MkIII. I also own an old Graflex Anniversary 4x5 with a Graflite flash. All of which I use. I decided to try attaching the old flash bulb Graflite flash to my Canon. I had heard enough horror stories about frying new digital cameras when attempting such connections. So, I decided to try triggering the flash with one of my Strato II wireless receivers. Problem was no way to connect the two until I found this item. It works as expected. Household end plugs into the Graflite. 3.5 mini end plugs into the Strato II receiver. Now with the Strato II transmitter on the Canon camera & the Strato II receiver attached to the Graflite flash, when I release the trigger, the flash bulb is fired as desired. Plus the added safety of having the flash totally remote from the camera. Paramount also does special orders for cords. I am now having one delivered that is the same thing, but in a coiled cord with the 5' length........

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paramount Sync Cord I use Norman strobes and Pocket Wizards. It didnt seem to be working so I bought this thinking maybe the connection was bad but it turns out the strobe is bad in my light - the modeling works but the important light is burned out. Oh well.....
