Using its BAK4 Porro prisms' design, Bushnell's 10x50 Legacy WP Binocular stands out by delivering greater depth perception when compared to its Roof prism counterparts. Despite its wider distance between the tubes, it offers a comfortable non-slip grip (thanks to the rubber covering) and an easy-to-reach center focusing wheel. To equalize the image sharpness in both eyes, it also has a diopter ring on the right tube. With its wide 50mm objective lenses with fully multi-coated optics, the binocular collects more light and delivers crisp and bright images in most lighting conditions and in twilight. It can even be used for stargazing and observing the moon. To enable you to take it anywhere, this optic's housing is made completely waterproof, is nitrogen-filled for fogproofing, and provides adaptability to tripods for removing image jitter and making long observations easy.

10x50 Legacy WP Binocular (Matte Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The No Hassles Binoculars I use these binoculars for both astronomy and viewing terrestrial objects. Their resistance to water and fogging up has been a plus as I live in the Caribbean and next to the water. In checking many. Websites this model always get high marks from owners. It's size, weight and power is a good compromise for those who enjoys dabbling in astronomy but still pulls out the binoculars to see a boat offshore our a bird. The magnification is not as good as my 5 inch telescope, but the wide-field view is something really to be behold when looking at the the Milky way arching overhead or looking at larger clusters. I think anything larger then these 50's say a 70 or 100's would require a tripod. The adjustments on the binoculars work smoothly and provide adequate range. For the price I can see why they have been recommend by so many reviewer's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice for the Price! My husband and I are birders. We've been watching for 25 years or more. I always wanted an expensive pair of binoculars and got them myself this year. My husband likes Bushnell and recently broke his slipping on the ice while eagle watching. I was going to upgrade his, but he insisted on Bushnell again. This new pair is great, the optics are very clear and easy to adjust. The waterproofing and fog-proofing is a bonus for sure. For the price...these are NICE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible price and incredibly crisp image. WOW. These are excellent binoculars. Image is very clear as they are fully multi coated and I use them for everything including astronomy; the 50mm aperture is perfect for this. Not that heavy as all the other 10x50 I reviewed were heavier. Excellent eye relief, water and fog proof, the diopter is stiff so it doesn't move easily which is what you want and the price is incredible. Buy these binoculars. They are perfect. You will pay a lot more for other 10x50s with the same quality as these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great binocular for the price Great product for the price! Good clarity for bird watching or astronomy. Can easily look at Jupiter's moons or our own moon's features. Would suggest a tripod for long period observation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maybe some metal Someone asked if they were made out of metal. I couldn't figure out how to answer the question, so here's the answer, in a review: it's hard to say, very little info, if any. They are good Binoculars, weight about 30 oz. Another good one is Barska 10x50 that weights about 36 oz, so it might have more metal in it, 5 - 6 dollars more. I have a Barska 12x60, very good. As far as weight goes, all of these have tripod mounts, they aren't really study but help once you have it sighted in. Light transmission and eyepiece relief are good, better than some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, worth the money! I bought these binoculars for sightseeing in Maine, and they have proved to be a fantastic purchase. These come with their own lightweight bag and offer crystal clear bird watching. One thing I didn't expect was how heavy they were. They will definitely add noticeable weight to your backpack, roughly that of a DSLR.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent Nicely surprised at the quality for the money. Rugged and give nice views. Much better than binos that cost twice as much from a prominent online astro retailer who I probably shouldn't mention by name. These and the Legend Ultra (roof prism) I already own speak highly of Bushnell quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wildlife Viewing I bought these to carry in my pickup mostly for wildlife viewing in Montana. They are clear and powerful enough for my type of viewing. They are also inexpensive enough that if the grand kids somehow break them it won't be a big deal. These are a good value for the money.
