Begin the sighting-in process without ever firing a shot with the Laser Boresighter from Bushnell. Lightweight and easy to use, the Laser Boresighter comes with 5 arbors that are compatible with .22 to .50 caliber firearms. Simply install three LR44 batteries, select the correct arbor for the firearm, thread the Laser Boresighter into the barrel and turn the laser on. Orienting your firearm toward a vertical surface, the laser dot will indicate exactly where the barrel is pointed. Adjust your scope to coincide with the dot and your firearm is now on paper, ready for fine-tuning at the range.

Unfortunately I don't think so. The Laser Boresighter has 5 arbors that are compatible with .22 to .50 caliber firearms.

YES...Just unscrew the laser tip, which is how you turn it on and off, and the batteries will be just inside the long part of the site. I think it takes 2 small watch style batteries. I have had mine for several years and used it a lot and as long as you turn it off when your finished with it they should last a long time.

none of the inserts will fit my 50 cal muzzleloader. how much force is required to seat the laser tube?

The inserts should be loose and only tightened when inserted. do not screw the insert all the way down before inserting into the barrel
