Master-Rail® systems are designed around a pair of fixed ceiling mounted rails running the length of your studio. From these hang any number of traverse rails running crosswise, one for each light. The traverse rails move back and forth and diagonally on the fixed rails with specifically designed Nylon-wheeled bearing rollers.
Lights are hung from the traverse rails on light lifts, providing infinite vertical movement. Power cables are secured to the traverse rails by movable cable carriers.
Photogenic's MasterRail Overhead Light Suspension Package Systems Package 5 has all the necessary items to install a standard 3 light system in a room 19 to 20 feet, with a ceiling height of 11 to 13 feet. The length of the system is determined by choosing a Traverse Rail 1 foot less than the entire length of your studio.
Note: When covering the entire width of the studio, choose a width 1 foot less than the entire width of the studio.
Note: Each system lists all the necessary items for a flush mount ceiling. If a dropped installation is necessary to install the fixed rails below a false ceiling, or to drop the fixed rails from a very high ceiling to the desired 12 - 13 feet, substitute AD71 rail clamps in place of the AD74 rail clamps. Also include enough 6 foot sections of AD75 rod to drop the system.
AD31AH Light Lift is available with an 18 lb capacity for larger lights.
Each rail is provided with stops at both ends.
