Sony DAVFX500 Overview

Sony's DAV-FX500 Home Theater System is truly a dream system with 1000 watts of power over 5 speakers and a 285 Watts digital direct twin drive subwoofer.

This system includes a digital A/V receiver integrated with a 5-Disc DVD player, one center speaker, two adjustable front tower speakers, two surround satellite speakers, and a powerful subwoofer that will bring movies to life in your living room. Supporting multiple playback types like MP3, SACD, VCD, JPEG, along with the standard DVD and CD, this system has the versatility to let you enjoy multiple sources of audio and video entertainment.

In addition to Dolby Digital, Pro Logic II and DTS digital decoders, the DAV-FX500 also features digital inputs, HDMI for digital A/V interfacing between any A/V source, an aluminum top-plate finish, and color-coded speaker cables for easy setup.

1000 Watts of Power/5.1 Channels
The DAV-FX500 combines 143 watts of power on each of its five channels combined with a 285W subwoofer to produce an enveloping sound field to draw you into the experience.
Multi-Format Playback
The integrated 5-Disc DVD player will playback multiple formats including DVD, JPEG, SACD, DVD-R/RW, MP3, JPEG, and more.
Pro Logic IIx, Dolby Digital DTS
This system is compatible with these top digital audio formats to provide an expansive, quality sound field from any source.
Dot Matrix Fluorescent Display
This highly readable, classic display is pleasant to look at, easy to use, and viewable in full light or total darkness.
