The MCS-3000X from JL Cooper is an eight-channel fader unit, designed for use as expansion modules for the MCS-3000, MCS-3400, or MCS-3800 command control stations. It features eight, touch-sensitive motorized faders, thirty-two switches, along with MIDI input and output. Up to seven units can be joined together to form an expanded console, with a maximum of sixty-four faders.
The unit can also function as a stand-alone controller for use with most audio, video or post production MIDI software. These include AVID's Media Composer, Film Composer and Xpress, and Digidesign's Pro Tools. It also works with MIDI programs from Cakewalk, Emagic, Mark of the Unicorn and Steinberg, amongst others.
