Cable is too Long

Ordered this cable because I needed it no more than 1ft (or 0.3 meter) to connect my M+S mic to my Canon X45 camera. The first cable they sent was 3 feet (or 1 meter) long. I contacted B&H and they confirmed with the vendor that the SKU I ordered was for a 1ft (0.3 meter) length and arranged an RMA. The replacement cable I received was nearly 2 feet in length. At that point I gave up, I will find another vendor who knows how to measure things before they sell them. This vendor doesn't own any measuring tapes and has terrible quality control, I would think twice before ordering any custom non-returnable items such as cables that you need to receive that are the advertised length.
