Sharp LC37D4U Overview

The Sharp LC-37D4U 37" Liquid Crystal HDTV displays high-definition picture in a cinematic wide-screen of 16:9 aspect ratio with fast response time and outstanding audio. It has an advanced Super View Black TFT panel that provides sharp and detailed images, characterized by high resolution, high-contrast ratio, high brightness, and wide viewing angle.

The LC-37D4U accepts all HD standards and is CableCARD-compatible, with its variety of inputs like HDMI and 2 HD component-video inputs. Its Quick Shoot video technology empowers the LCD panel with a fast response time of less than 12 ms; so you can now enjoy full-motion video and graphics without ghosting or streaking.

Sleek and elegant, with its 10-watt side speakers, the Sharp LC-37D4U 37" Liquid Crystal HDTV is sure to enhance your room decor. For convenience, you can remove its (included) table stand for easy wall-mounting applications.

HD-Grade 1366 x 768 Pixel Resolution
The Sharp LC-37D4U has a high-pixel count that provides fine detail for outstanding HDTV reproduction. This TV displays HDTV programs in 720p.

Wide Viewing Angle
This LCD TV features an extremely wide viewing angle of 170° horizontal, 170° vertical. You'll always get great image quality, whether you're sitting directly in front of the TV or off to the side.
NTSC and HD Tuners
In addition to standard NTSC tuner, this TV is equipped with HD Tuners for off-the-air and Satellite reception of high-definition programs.
Fast Response Time
The LC-37D4U's Quick Shoot video technology empowers the LCD panel with a fast response time of less than 12ms. This allows you to enjoy full-motion video and graphics without ghosting or streaking.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface)
This interface enhances audio and video performance of the LCD TV. In addition, this interface uses one cable and one plug to simplify connections.
HDTV Tuner with CableCARD
Use the CableCARD to receive HDTV program through your cable TV company. CableCARD will also allow your television set to receive digital television services directly from the cable operator without requiring a bulky external cable box.
Speaker System
The speakers provide excellent stereo sound of 10 watts per channel. It also provides BBE with Mach 3 Bass.
View Modes
You can select and enjoy one of several view modes such as Side Bar, Smart Stretch, Stretch, Zoom, Dot by Dot.
