The D888 Digital Recording Studio from Korg combines high-quality audio with ease of use for those needing digital quality with familiar controls.
Though designed in a traditional analog fashion, the D888 offers full digital capability. The unit is also lightweight and portable, making it ideal for use in the field, as well as in your studio.
The D888 records your audio in a WAV file format onto the internal 40GB hard drive, which makes it easy to share with other systems. Each of the 8 tracks can be recorded or played back simultaneously. The unit also offers 64 virtual tracks, as well as 11 different types of effects, and non-destructive editing.

Non-destructive Editing
The non-destructive editing tools of the D888 allow you to copy entire sections of your audio, as well as swap tracks or erase. Undo and Redo allow you to hear both the "before" and "after" versions of any edit. Punch in and punch out recording allows precise overdubbing and fixing of sour notes
Over 120 Hours Recording Time
The internal 40 GB hard drive gives a maximum total recording time of 120 hours

11 Effect Types
Instantly selectable from the front panel, each channel has it's own send knob. Create the perfect mix using the global return knob. Effect parameters are editable from a front-panel knob, keeping with the unit's real-time approach.
Internal Metronome
The metronome can be sent from both the Master and Monitor outputs, or just the Monitor outputs, so musicians can follow a click-track during recording or performance.
