The MW-02 MegaWide processor from SRS Labs is a combination of three SRS audio enhancement technologies. These include the original SRS process, Voice Clarity and TruBass. Designed to replace spatial information that is often masked by traditional recording and playback techniques, the unit can also synthesize a natural sounding stereo sound image from mono material.
The company's original audio enhancement technology, SRS, provides substantially larger and wider audio imaging, while their Voice Clarity technology features proprietary phase correction techniques and ensures crisp, clear vocals and dialog. SRS TruBass employs harmonics to recreate low frequency information that is typically below the limitations of the speakers used in playback.
