Roland has responded to the growing demand for acoustic drum triggering with the 10 series of triggers. The RT-10S is specifically created for the snare drum, and as such it supports rim/head double triggering. The 10 series was created with the goal of eliminating false triggers by making the sensor adjustable.
The RT-10S is smaller than previous triggers, and made of a lightweight material. This makes it easier to place, which is not only more convenient, but also contributes to the accuracy of the sensor.
In addition to working with acoustic sets, the 10 series triggers will work with Roland's V-Drum TD series and their line of percussion pads, since they function as well with mesh heads as with regular acoustic drumheads. The RT-10S makes it easy to augment your existing kit with the triggered drum tones of your choice.
