This is the Impact Three Monolight Portrait Boom Kit with Case (120VAC). Two of the key monolights in this kit offer a maximum of 300 watt/seconds each. The third monolight offers 100 watt/seconds, and is useful as a hairlight, or background light. Each monolight has the ability to adjust flash levels from full to 1/8 power. Each monolight has a 100 watt modeling light to aid in adjustment and placement. This kit provides ample power to light a 3 - 4 person full-length portrait.
The VSD300 has cushioned touch-pad function control buttons. Power is adjustable in 1/10 stop increments, from full to 1/8 power. Its model light intensity may be controlled coupled to, or independent from the strobe power levels you select.
The Impact VSD300 and EX100A are good units for occasional use by a hobbyist, or beginning professional. Their built-in optical slave fires the flash without wires, from the light of any other flash system. Their flashtubes are good for tens of thousands of pops, and are replaceable.
This three monolight kit also includes two air cushioned light stands, a convertible stand that becomes a telescopic boom, 2- white umbrellas, a 24" square softbox with dedicated EX100A speedring, a sync cord (Mini plug to PC) and soft kit case with shoulder strap and movable internal dividers. Also included are a 16 channel radio remote set (range 75') to enable you to trigger your system wirelessly.
