The Telex TR-825 is a 2-channel, binaural UHF frequency-agile wireless beltpack transceiver for use with the BTR-800 base station. The unit offers dual-listen and dual-talk capabilities, allowing the user to listen to a different communication channel in each ear, for example, a "tech" channel in one ear and a "production" channel in the other. Alternatively, both channels can be set to the same source for stereo listening. The beltpack features a durable cast magnesium housing, an LCD-based graphical user interface, and detachable antennas.
The TR-825 is designed with several advanced technology functions, including wireless talk around (ISO) activation, the patented Enhanced ClearScan channel search, stage announce activation, and an auto-sensing headset connector that automatically switches between electret and dynamic headset mics.
This unit has an A5M Telex headset jack and operates in the E88 frequency band, transmitting in the 470 to 488 MHz range and receiving in the 590 to 608 MHz range.
