Bubble Level for Series 2 Tripods is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy installation, doesn't get in way of tripod legs I bought this level for shooting panoramas; my Gitzo tripod, for which this level is made, lacks a built-in level for the base. The level installs in seconds simply by unscrewing the weight hook at the bottom of the center column, placing the level, and then rescrewing the hook. The level can easily be adjusted so that it does not interfere with the tripod legs when they are closed. And the position at the bottom of the center column makes it easy to see the level while adjusting the legs. It's a well-designed product that does just what it's supposed to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent level for series 2 tripods. I was disappointed that my Gitzo Series 2 tripod did not have a bubble level on the head. But the center column bubble level work even better. It is positioned lower down at the bottom of the center column where it is very easy to watch as you adjust the legs to level your tripod. And it is never in the way when you fold the legs. I should have gotten it when I got my tripod.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't work in ground level set config Purchased this hoping it would work in ground level set config (or while using a Markins base instead of the center column), only to learn that it only fits over the center column. I'm perplexed why my $200 Manfrotto aluminum legs had a built-in level yet my $600 Gitzo legs do not :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Functional A great add-on for series 2 or old series 1 tripods without a built-in level. (I added mine to a 1227.) This level just slips onto the bottom of the center column. You must remove the hook, then re-attach it after attaching the level. Nests between the legs when the tripod is folded, so it takes no space. What could be easier?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bubble Level works fine on Series 2 Tripods Bubble Level works fine on Series 2 Tripods and does the job of helping to level the tripod. Needed a level for the Gitzo GT2545T Series 2 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod and this worked just fine. Not very expensive but it makes leveling a lot easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, saved my lots of $$$ It was this or a new tripod with a level in the head. Works fine, still allows the legs to fold normally around the level. Allowed my to do panos and get excellent alignment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little addition to my Gitzo Tripod Perfect addtion to my Gitzo tripod just one more feature which makes my setup a bit more streamlined. No more guessing on level. This and my new spiked tripod feet make my Gitzo tripod very versitile if you don't have the spiked feet your missing out on a very nice addition. the pkg comes with 3 spikes that screw in and can tighten with a wrench, for those of you who lose the rubber feet this will not happen again with the spiked feet.
