Prints will most likely be to thick to fit properly, if inserted, the sleeves would bulge out and cause the photos to sit flush and flat.

Are these roomy enough to hold 4x5 glass dry plates?

I've never worked with glass plates and I don't know their exact size and thickness. However, in an attempt to answer your question I tried loading the old ground glass from a few different view cameras. Some fit nicely; some wouldn't fit at all. It seems as if the largest that would fit is 3 7/8 x 5 , but that glass is relatively thick (3/32 - window glass). That's as helpful as i can be.
