The Novatron M600 Monolight has a power ranger of 6 f/stops, adjustable in 0.1 stop increments. It has a digital readout of the power levels. The 250 watt quartz halogen modeling light switch permits constant full power, variable with the flash power selection, or off.
The M600 also includes an internal, switchable optical slave. It comes equipped with a 600 W/sec color corrected to 5500°K plug in flashtube. The digital processor maintains Kelvin temperature output within 100°, throughout the power range. The mounting bracket has a sliding mechanism that allows the user to change the center of gravity of the monolight, when mounting a larger softbox. This feature removes the stress on the tilting bracket.
Novatron's self contained Monolights take all the elements of a power pack, flashhead, and reflector and combine them into one lighting unit that's very easy to set up and transport. This monolight is available as a One Light Kit and as a Two Light Kit which include umbrellas, reflectors, light stands, sync cord and a case.
It has outlets for a 2-prong "Household", and a 1/4" Phono Plug sync cord.
