Other reviewers have measured this cable at 9.75 in. and 13.5 in. My cable is 13 in. So- Hosa is clearly lax on this aspect of quality control. I am using this cable for MIDI connections; in terms of signal transfer, it does perform as expected.

These are actually 13.5 inches and are way too long for my intended purpose. Otherwise they are good quality.

Does this cable replace the original Rode Videomicro microphone cable?

Is 8" measured from the one plug end tip to the other plug tip ? Is the 8" represent the wire length only excluding plugs ? Is the 8" represent the wire length plus strain relief portions of these plugs ?
