The DHT-486DV 7.1 Ch. Home Theater in a Box from Denon is equipped with 7 channels of high current amplifier power and DSP processing technology. It brings acoustically matched loudspeakers in a simple and readymade package for almost any environment.
The system includes a versatile audio/video receiver along with 7 speakers and a 100W subwoofer. This acoustically matched, and European tuned speaker package brings the most out of movie soundtracks and your favorite music. The center channel dialogue speaker features a 2-way design, with dual midrange drivers and an efficient tweeter. The other six satellite speakers use similar drive units as the center channel, but with only a single midrange and tweeter compliment. With Dolby Pro Logic IIx, the DHT486DV recreates existing Dolby Surround programs and conventional stereo sources such as CD in realistic 7.1-channel likeness.
As with all of Denon's high grade A/V receivers, the AVR-486DV lets you adjust delay times and other parameters so that you can customize the performance of the AVR-486DV to suit your own home theater and enhance operating ease. The adjustments are easy to make via a dialog format on the fluorescent display on the front panel.
