Dolgin Engineering TC400 Overview

The TC400-CAN from Dolgin Engineering features integrated battery plates that support Canon and third-party BP-955, BP-945, BP-950G, BP-970G, and BP-975 batteries. These batteries are used with Canon's C100, C300, C500, XF200, XF205, XF300, and XF305 cameras.

The TC400 has an LCD screen on the front panel that displays charge status in volts, amp hours, and percentage of charge that's estimated using a proprietary algorithm.

The TC400 has fully independent channels and deliver simultaneous charging to all four batteries. Based on a capacity of 5600mAh, it delivers a complete charge in approximately 3.5 hours for four batteries or when you charge a single battery.

The charger comes with a U.S. power cord and supports worldwide power input via optional plug adapters.

This puppy charges FAST! But it sparks when you plug in - so not my favourite.

Pro grade charger 4 batteries at the same time who deliver !

This charger is needed when you go for a long shooting day and dont have the time to waste time using charger who can only charge one or two batteries at best..... this charger work and rock solid construction

You have to swallow hard before you'll drop ~$700 on a battery charger. However when you have a fleet of devices that use these batteries and the chargers that most companies include, take roughly 8-12 hours to put a full charge on the higher mAh batteries you soon realize the struggle is real. Bottom line, 4 batteries, under 4 hours...a godsend. The best part it's rugged, it's easy to use, and it seems bulletproof. To me, it came down to what's it worth to be ready to roll.

I've only had this unit long enough to use a couple of times, so for the long run, I really have no idea. I am a little concerned that it's not a Panasonic, but so far so good. It continually scans each battery, one after the other, keeping tabs on the process, and giving progress reports for each battery. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5, is it's cost. It is a little on the spendy side, though in the long run, (if it goes the distance), it'll probably be worth it.

We in Denmark hire out EX exuiptment and need a super charger the store, two of these did the trick they are working 24/7 and doing its job without complaints!

Nice being able to avoid having 4 canon chargers with all their unneccessary tangles of wires. good data read out on battery status

The pictures don't do this charger justice. This thing is enormous when you compare it to normal single and duel chargers, plus it's metal. The screen is much brighter and clearer than the pictures suggest, and it just feels so much more substantial and looks more professional than any other charger I've ever seen. It performs better too. I mean... I just watched it charge an NP-F970 20% in what felt like five minutes. If you want to be the most reliable guy on set, this charger is a must have. Bite the bullet and get one, you won't regret it.

I have been assured by the Dolgin that any of their chargers will correctly handle any battery that is within the voltage range of the charger.

Yes, the Dolgin Engineering TC400-TDM Four-Position Simultaneous Battery Charger will be able to charge other battery brands that are SONY L style batteries. Yes, you will be able to charge the IDX SL-F70 battery.

According to Dolgin Engineering, yes, the TC400 will handle the 7.4V batteries.
