MB2 Flash Connection Cable is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised Used with a 3rd party battery to power my new Canon speedlight 580EX II. The cable has a nice secure locking jack and the insert fits into the flash unit easily. tightening mechanism for the module is easy to set. The only criticism of this is the way in which the door of the flash is closed after the module is inserted. The velcro works to a point, but invariably comes loose. This a a joint issue between the design of the flash and the cord thickness used in the module. Works great to power my 580EX II!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought a bunch they work great. I use this connector with my 580ex2 flashes. I have used other connectors for my 580's and nothing compares to the improvements they have made on the new cable. first of all it has a built in lock that prevent the connector from falling out of the flash. They used to have a little plastic clamp that I have lost and replaced several times. Anyway compared to what I was using to the one dramatic change and major improvement I bought all new flashes -6 in all and replaced all my connectors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works, but isn't pretty. I don't like the cord coming out of the battery area and having to put velcro to hold the door down. The 580EX II flash is expensive enough without having to worry about breaking the battery comparment door off. I could not find any way to take the door off the flash when using the MB2. It does recycle the flash very quickly. I already had the battery pack so I got it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid piece of connectivity I'm using these connectors with a 3rd party battery for my Canon 580EX II flashes. The secure connection to the battery is great. The battery connector seats securely in the compartment. One note is that the door to the battery compartment has to be slightly modified for the cable, otherwise you can leave the door open.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, door needs to be open I needed to power a canon 580 flash off ac power and couldn't find any canon product to do this. The MB2 in combination with a 5V 5 Amp power supply did the trick. The battery door needs to remain open, but the MB2 has 2 tabs to hold it in place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Material The only thing that does not satisfy me completely is that the cable can not fully close the flash compartment

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MB2 Flash Connection Cable by Quantum This allows me to use my Canon EX 2 flash with a quantum battery at weddings, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MB 2 Quantum cable connect to 4301 exii Cable allows flash to be off shoe and provide power from QB 1 battery pack. Good length for standard flash bracket. The only reason this product does not get a 5 star the lack of instructions as to the proper install to Canon flash. BnH would do better by adding link to proper install or set up or provide proper instruction. Improperly installed could result in frying your flash.
