I wish Quantum would make the cable to hook up directly to the bottom of the flash like the Canon brand cable does.

Cable allows flash to be off shoe and provide power from QB 1 battery pack. Good length for standard flash bracket.The only reason this product does not get a 5 star the lack of instructions as to the proper install to Canon flash. BnH would do better by adding link to proper install or set up or provide proper instruction. Improperly installed could result in frying your flash.
