The Samsung SVR-916EBAY3 is an external storage drive for use with the Samsung SVR-1620 16-channel digital video recorder. More storage space allows images from more cameras to be recorded at higher frame rates and resolutions for longer periods of time before there's any need to delete or overwrite material.
FireWire Interface
Connection to the DVR is via a fast FireWire (IEEE 1394) interface. Once connected, this storage unit is treated exactly like the DVR's internal hard drive, offering easy search and playback capabilities.
Playback on any PC
Video files are stored in the FAT32 format, making it possible to play back recorded footage from this unit on any Windows based PC.
Stackable
Up to 4 of these units can be stacked one on top of the other, providing a total of up to 4TB of additional storage space.
Rack Mountable
This unit is designed to fit in a standard 19" EIA rack and occupies one rack unit.
