From Lectrosonics, this system is intended for use with the Venue Receiver (VR) modular system. The package includes the VRS standard modular receiver unit and UT400 handheld transmitter with VariMic omnidirectional capsule. The VRS modular receiver installs into the Venue Receiver base. The Venue Receiver is capable of housing up to 6 modular receivers, enabling 6 systems to operate simultaneously.
The VRS receiver operates on a fixed bandwidth, providing up to 256 user selectable frequencies. The VRS is intended for use in areas where radio frequency (RF) transmission from local TV and radio stations is light to moderate. The VRS modular receiver utilizes Lectrosonics digital hybrid technology for enhanced range with minimal noise.
The UT400 VariMic handheld transmitter is a rugged and versatile wireless microphone with an omnidirectional polar pattern. The VariMic provides flexible controls such as amplifier gain control and EQ switches. The UT400 is capable of up to 6.5 hours of operation on a single 9-volt lithium battery.
