Carson SureGrip Reviews

Good quality glass lens , but needs to be bigger.

The lens is glass for durability (Less scratches than plastic). The image is very clear and has has very little curvature at the edges. The stand was hard to open (I almost broke my thumbnail) but it held the lens at just the right height for good focus. It would be better if the lens was larger so you could read the length of a whole line without having to move the magnifier back and forth. The ten power spot works OK but the object has to be too close to the lens and it is just too small to be usable. For 10 power, I would rather use a loupe.

Handy, solid, well made magnifier. Real glass, not some easily scratched plastic. That extra tiny loupe is OK, but really never used; good idea though in the space that normally would be wasted.
