The Gold Studio in a Box (SIBSMO) is a pre-engineered acoustic room correction package that includes broad band diffusion. The package utilizes Melaflex ProFoam which is fabricated from BASF melamine foam and is in full compliance for Class A interior use. The SIBGMO solves all of the fundamental acoustic problems presented by small room environments with an added emphasis on diffusion and low frequency control.
Components of the package include Melaflex ProFoam acoustical foam panels that provide first-reflection control. To optimize the performance and appearance of conventional acoustical foam, RPG uses an innovative design profile that utilizes a Variable Depth Air Cavity (VDAC) to strategically space most of the foam away from the mounting surface for optimum absorption efficiency and economy.
Bass management is achieved with a pair of Melaflex ProCorner panels. The ProCorner offers ideal absorption across the audio spectrum and complements the Melaflex ProFoam nestable wall panels
Twelve 12 inch2 panels with the same VDAC design profile as the larger ProFoam panels provide mid-band diffusion.
The Skyline LP is a two dimensional diffuser that is designed to diffuse interfering rear wall reflections and provide a diffuse sound field in smaller rooms and where available wall depth is often limited due to equipment location and other furnishings. Molded from high density Noryl flame-retardant grade high density expanded polystyrene, the panels work on the two dimensional optimized primitive-root reflection phase grating principle, using an array of rectangular phase blocks.
The design of the Gold Studio in a Box is based primarily on 14 x 10 x 8 foot high room. By augmenting the basic package with additional items, any room size up to 19 x 19 feet can be treated. The package includes premium grade construction adhesive for wall mounting.
