The HARMONi G3 600 MHz Processor and FireWire Upgrade for iMac from Sonnet is processor upgrade for the first generation iMac computer. The processor replaces the iMac's CPU with a 600 MHz G3 and also adds a 6-Pin FireWire-400 port. This is a great way to breathe new life into your older iMac computer.
iMac Compatibility
This processor is compatible with the iMac 233 MHz, 266 MHz, 333 MHz (Rev. A-D) computers with up to 512 MB of RAM.
Simple Installation
To install the upgrade you simply remove your iMac's CPU and memory, install the upgrade and install your computer's memory onto the upgrade board. A replacement side panel is included to allow you to access the FireWire port.
Mac OS Compatibility
The processor upgrade is compatible with Mac OS 8.6 through 9.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.1.x through 10.3.9.
